Stain

The Crying Lady – Ashland Cemetery KY photo by LE

Stain

Rah rah rh rah – rah
Rah – rh rah rha – rah rah – rh rahr
Singing,

Tracks across the virgin
Terrain with a faint inky-sweet
Smell,

Tubular like a miniature
Obelisk, extruded smoothness is
Bleeding,

Balled up tongue where
Life pours out, and tracking, rolls
On, or

In my shirt pocket when
Left uncapped, the stain of life, ill
Spent.
