Sean Graduated High School, June 2005

Sean’s graduation was celebrated at Severance Music Hall. My memory of the event is vague, but with some prodding, I recall being a little miffed because I hadn’t brought my camera for pictures due to being advised that no cameras would be allowed in Severance. That was either misinformation or no one paid any attention to that edict since cameras were flashing all around us. It was still a landmark for Sean, and we were all proud of him for his achievement.

That year, he enrolled at the Cleveland Institute of Art (CIA) at University Circle. We occasionally met for coffee and a scone at the University Circle Arabica. Ian (my oldest son) had been an assistant manager there before he moved on, eventually to St. Louis with his tourning Indie rock band, LEO.
