3 am New Year’s Morning 2011 – Memoir Continued

A drunk driver plowed into the back of my car, which was parked on the street in front of our house. He hit it so hard that it totaled mine and pushed it into Tina’s car, too. Her’s had some minor bumper damage that we had fixed.

So, for the next few weeks, I was car hunting. I eventually found a midnight blue, ‘05 Hyundai Tiburon, with a 4-speed manual transmission. Friends used to call it the Korean ‘Mustang’… It did have a similar shape. It certainly was fun to drive. Riding in the back, not so much… But then, I was usually driving.
