Old People’s Wisdom

Old People’s Wisdom

They say old people are wise
But to me, we’re merely human
Artifacts, renderings of conditioning
And non-stop, round-the-clock
Vitriol and propaganda

In most cases
What they call “the wisdom of old age”
Is but a cunning for survival that
Is genetically encoded in our species
Our racial memories back to the beginning

If there’s any ‘wisdom’ in old age
It’s not allowing social and political fads
To completely supplant that inherent
Survival cunning buried deep
In humans’ racial ‘bluegenes’

And by the way, there’s only ONE race of Homosapiens, the Human Race! Anything else is merely cosmetic.  –LE
