What Do Incompetence Mean?

Imagination’s greater than knowledge,
and – what do incompetence mean, and
where is this touted imagination?

Ultraviolet rage is glowing loud, and
mediocrity is on a rampage.

Originality is seldom seen; it
more often resembles hand-me-down
jeans in a gray-Fifth-Avenue-wet-dream.

Yet, my attempts at being genuine
end in trite mediocrity – all mine.

Fuck this and fuck that are so over used,
they can’t prop up a beatnik’s howling blues,
much less inspire, or state something new.

So, what of knowledge – and imagination,
And yes, what do incompetence mean?
