Winter’s In The Air
Now the leaves have fallen
They’re lying on the ground
Autumn’s many colored blanket
Has turned a brittle brown
And now we wait for winter
wearing his hoary crown
he steals our body’s heat
And chills us to the bone
His arrival brings the holidays
To warm our hearts again
The solstice and the new year
Joys to tide us till spring
