merely a strain of primates
with opposable thumbs
and the ability to think
about the future, and
thinking

thinking about thinking
over-thinking?

thinking based on perceptions
as is all thinking, but
none possible without senses
and perceptions of past
events and future expectations
based on them

but

all perceptions capable of
error and missing the reality
or ‘truth’ of any and all
experiences … the most common
experience in human history

the most common perception
mis-perception thanks to prevailing
social and personal prejudices

but, of course, we’re
only human
