Good Intentions

Pavers on Hell’s road
So they say
Good intentions
And righteous dismay

Not bad, nor evil per se
Just subjective like
Would’a, should’a, could’a
With no there, there

Kinetic energy, coiled 
But no place to go
No physical release
Just greased potential

Most actions are reactive
Planned and controlled ones
Seldom granted
Intention vastly overrated
