Work Ethic – Santimonious Myth

I wrote this in response to those complaining about the lack of a ‘work ethic’ (AKA the complainer’s particular ‘ethic’) among the younger generations, and bragging to me about their own, dripping with disgusting sanctimony.

Work Ethic – Sanctimonious Myth

the imagined moral superiority of
a capitalist vision of a work ethic
based on hard labor and sacrifice
to justify our existence to our owners
just a sanctimonious myth

the moral superiority of the wage-slave
nothing but propaganda from the owner class
conditioned into the working classes to
ensure the acceptance and mythical ‘nobility’
of wage-slavery for the masses

propaganda and conditioning, nothing less
not reality, much less, truth
there is no moral superiority in
the capitalist myth of ‘work ethic’
just a means to control the masses

another ‘sucker’s bet’
certainly NOT practiced by our owners
but a main front of the class war
waged against the masses
since the beginnings of ‘civilization’

the sanctimonious myth
of the work ethic
