Through reds
Browns and blacks

I’m tiny
In some realms
Fairly large in others

My sting
Deadly to insects and
Small animals
Merely painful to
Larger ones
Humans and such

Stinger on a hair-trigger
Hanging close over my
Exoskeleton-back
