Sun…Day

Afternoon
I’m sitting here in
My mind
Counting my breaths away
I’m centering here and now
Opening my mind’s eye
Contemplating my
Biosphere
The eco system
Connecting me with all
That allows me
To thrive in this swirling
Little eddie of the eternally
Flowing river of
Space/time

As images and ideas
Kaleidoscope my mind
Taking me to new
And unheard of
Sights and plains

I start counting my
Breaths again
Feeling my lungs
Fill and release
Chest fall and rise
Settles me back
Into here and
Now
