Another Tucson Loop Morning

Another bright Sum…Sum…
Summertime-blues sky
A light headwind riding south
On the interminable incline

But

Nice tailwind and comfortable
Decline heading back north

The southern mountains
Silhouetted in misty blue
While the Three Sisters peaks
Stand stark in the morning sun
Off in the near western view

Not much in the way of
Fauna today
A couple of Prairie dogs
The rest safe and sound
In their hidden nests
And dens, while
A flock of pigeons
Frolic in the breezy air

Was sweating before
I even started
So, cut the ride short
In the desert morning heat
