There were 5 of us protesting at the Ajo entrance to the Tucson VA this morning. We arrived at 6:30 am and stayed until 8:30 am for the  night to day shift change. The other 3 protesters joined us around 7 am.

It was a bit chilly this morning, about 55F when we arrived. Temp got up to 64F by the time we headed home.

About 60% of those entering and leaving responded. Five of the responses were negative (bouncing thumbs down and a couple of middle fingers). They were part of the 60% who responded.

The rest looked straight ahead, glancing neither right nor left. Heaven forbid actually making eye contact, much less choose a side… But that’s OK, we see you, even if you pretend not to see us.
