My oldest son, Ian, led an Indie Rock ensemble called LEO from around 2003 to 2008. They toured nationally but were better known locally in the mid and northeastern US. He wrote most of the lyrics and was the frontman, lead singer, and lead guitarist for the band. Lake was the first song he wrote (that I’m aware of). He told me he got the idea after reading about a suicide in a Cleveland newspaper, where he had lived previously.

I’ve provided a link below to their album, Nightmares on Spotify, which they toured to promote. Unfortunately, the band broke up before they could record a sequel…
