What’s the hardest decision you’ve ever had to make? Why?
In Reality … All And None …
Off the top of my head, I’d have chosen my decisions to not fight my exes in their bids to be rid of me. Not to fight the outrageous child support garnishments of my meager wages, that left me nearly destitute, in financial crisis, almost until retirement. I did get it all paid off the year before I retired. So, no, I didn’t have any savings to retire on. And I still have only SS and Medicare, with none of the parts C thru Z (gifts to the lousy insurance companies). If the current owners have their way, that will be gone soon, as well.
But on second thought, I had no real choice anyway (none of us really do), even if I had wanted to fight it. As I’ve previously reported, ‘the universe is unfolding just as it should’. Who am I to gainsay it? Based on the birth lottery and my position in space-time, I’ve made the only decisions that were available to me (so I didn’t really ‘decide’), regardless of our convictions on ‘freedom of choice’. That’s an illusion … always was … (IMHO).
