December Morning Ride

Rolled out in the
Morning sunshine
A few contrails
Crisscrossed above

With deep blue overhead
Trailing to very pale
On the distant horizons
As Sol’s long rays
Took the chill away

Only a few bikers
And a couple of
walkers crossed
Our path out and back

Another cool, quiet morn
On our multiuse path
