What are your favorite physical activities or exercises?
There is a big difference in what I like now and what I thrived on in the past. I prefer walking, riding my recumbent, Tai Chi, gentle yoga, and a little archery.
In the past, I loved working out for 2-3 hours in Judo (was a turnament competitor from 16 years old, into my mid-50s); working out so hard that I’d lose 5 lbs of water-weight, at least during each session. Yes, I gained it right back, but when I was dripping and my body was so hot that everything on me moved like a well oiled machine, no real effort or strength involved, just smooth flowing motion (maximum efficient motion). And so well worn and tired that I’d stand under a hot shower, sometimes even sit down under it until I was ready to fall asleep … those were the days…; -) But I’m too old and tired for that level of activity anymore. So, I now prefer the above…
