Survival of the Fittest?

There’s not enough to go around,
so we’ve been constantly told, and thus sold
a bill of goods that profit the
self-proclaimed, privileged few.

Who, living in obscene opulence, stolen
from wage slaves and the poor, subsidized
by governments, their cronies in power,
enabled by want-to-be entitled elitists of all stripes.

Mandarins of the status-quo dismiss the disparity;
a culture war against them and their benefactors;
a vendetta; slackers want what the ‘elite’ have already stolen,
realizing those elite are only special in their own minds.

With the sweat of the world rolling off our shoulders and brows.
