Music Of The Universe
long ago
Pythagoras speculated
music of the spheres
physics of the quantum
has shown us
that all is vibrations
above and below
audible sound
cosmic rays
to the molten metals
in the hearts of stars
every atom within us
vibrates to a frequency
all its own
but harmonic resonance
builds the strength
and power
our own frequency
an edifice of harmony
sympathetic waves
music of the universe
perhaps even
music of the spheres

First thought after reading–“I’m picking up good vibrations, she’s giving me the excitations…” lol
I didn’t grasp a lot of your poem, though it does have a nice flow to it, Liam. My mind isn’t wired like yours. But poetry stems from the poet, and is not always understood by other than the poet. I’m sure a lot of my poems don’t make sense to readers, though they do to me.
Love the colorful paintings, especially Dancing in the Moonlight.

Ah, well, since everything is waves, then the music of the universe, of ‘spheres’, is the intervals between said waves and the harmontic resonances that amplify them… basically, that’s all I was trying to convey…; -)
