Blue Skies Starting My Day

rode out under morning blue skies
a few wispy white brush strokes
toward the south eastern horizon

a very quiet morning
except for the occasional
low flying jets from Davis-Monthan

parade tracks in the dry
sandy river watercourse
animal and human and ATV

relatively cool
no breeze
but for that my pedaling made

saw a cat
feral, domestic, or bob
hard to tell

now home
Catrike put away
for a couple of days
