to achieve desired effects
creating spells and incantations

sorcerers selecting words and phrases
carefully using poetic devices
rhyme, alliteration, and metaphor
to conjure power and much more

the very invention of languages
but human sorceries, rendered incantations
created societies and civilizations
genocides and desertifications

homo sapiens innate predatory nature
expressed in languages, lethal products of mind
as powerful as mythically created creatures
devils, demons, and sorcerers of legend
