Late Seasons Haiku
windswept blades of grass,
velcro for decaying leaves —
crows hunt for treasure
a crow is calling,
thrice, rest, thrice, rest, again thrice —
rose-glass filtered sun
wet snow all around,
parking lot puddles soak shoes —
tracking salt inside

Beautiful painting and such gorgeous imagery in your haikus. Very vivid. I can feel the leaves, hear the crows and feel my squelching shoes.
