Drive Me Mad

Drive Me Mad

drive – me mad
or wild – insane
mundane
all the same

harassing loud
four-wheel
off-road on the
road wheelies abound

dogs barking
in every yard
pass the rage on
barrio hounds

some are not intuitive
or peaceable
pretended strength
stereotyped characters

intentions are not
peace and love
but an Instinct
macho au naturel – futile

    • Thanks, Tanmay… I find very often that the rhythm is even more important than the words, though not necessarily in this case… sometimes the rage comes naturally; not much need to ‘plot it out’…; -)
