If walking around in
a hubristic fog in
an insane world is
considered sane
then color me
insane
and glad of it

worse
when the planet’s
zeitgeist embraces
that insanity war
nationalism genocide
I wear insanity a
badge of honor

as the sane
follow their lemming
notions to their
logical conclusions
extinction of Earth’s
apex predators
humans

  1. It is sad dear poet. Once forest in my nearby city in Michigan. Now I must drive twenty miles for the forest. City on city. While my city Detroit, becoming empty. Funny part. Part of the city becoming a forest again. I like insanity. I can see more.
