with patient strokes
or dabbed and scraped
with palette knife bold
music changes as
sessions fly by
painting completed
in many winks of
the eye – studied
this playful vision
rendered with personal
flourishes and gestures
signed sealed delivered
then start again
in meditation

To me, all creative endeavors are kinds of meditation, including music, poetry, and painting. While they are not the same kind as zazen, which I’ve practiced for years, they are none the less meditation…IMHO…; -) Thanks for reading and commenting…
