Another old one from the early ’80s… Places it in the same time-window that I’m currently describing in my continuing memoir.
Wild Magic
I am the wild magic
The promise of old
In order to articulate
I must learn to be bold
The entire universe
Will dance to my tune
But first – shed the caccon
Behold the sun and moon
The yoke of intelect
Hides from us the truth
The key to wild magic
Is in its spiritual use
All the saints have said it
They couldn’t all be wrong
The key to wild magic
Is faith in the song
The dance of life – it changes
To wild magic’s call
So let down your tethered hair
And come to the magic ball
Open up your heart
Believe you will not fall
Have the faith to start
Heed wild magic’s call

To me, music IS wild magic. As Dick Clark said: it’s the soundtrack of our lives.
