I’m taking a break from my memoir for a while. For the next few weeks, I’ll mostly be reprising the poetry that I’ve written for this blog since I began it over a year ago.
Pandora’s Box
Pandora’s box
Only filled with
Bagels and lox
Swimming in
Chaos dust
But the box
Has no lock
What the
While back at its
Sprawling cage
The parakeet chirps
And the dog barks
With no reason
Nor rhyme…
Chirp bark chir bark
Chirp chirp bark bark
Only ceases in
Pandora’s chaos dark
Boycott Immorality
Oh! such banality
On whose morals
Does the boycott hinge
You, me, perhaps Loki
Whims of Norse or Greek
Don’t worry, be happy
Yes, a little song he wrote
Seems a good morality
Note for note
Cheek to cheek
Pandora agrees
