We, the consumer, all have Mother Earth’s blood on our hands. If there wasn’t a demand for their products and services, corporations wouldn’t exist.
Some believe we are currently in the midst of the 6th mass extinction. That would fix things.
For awhile.

Some believe? I thought it was an indisputable fact… Yes, we, the consumers, are partially responsible and will continue to be so until there is enough support to overthrow the current economic system, status-quo capitalism, and quit destroying the planet for the profits of a few billionaires… (IMHO). I’m curious—what does a functional society look like to you? Socialism? I know what we have now isn’t working all that well, but I’ve worked hard my entire life to get to where I am now. I sure don’t want what I’ve saved to be taken away and given to those who are too lazy to work. There are unfortunate people who genuinely need help, then there are the parasites. The biggest ones, though, are the government, big pharma, and the industrial military complex.
