Real life, that is…
What’s your favorite game (card, board, video, etc.)? Why?
In my youth, I loved Space Invaders and Asteroids, but I’ve always loved Dominos and Chess as well. I’ve never been a big fan of card games, though I’ve played many over the years.
My favorite now is Chess, though most people don’t play, claiming it’s too complicated, which I find unfortunate, for me that is… because I very seldom get to play.
I like Chess because it can be very meditative, companionable, conversational, and friendly… if the players so decide.

I think chess game is for intelligent people. Most of us are too lazy to learn the game.

I’m sure that many chess players would like to think that’s true, stroke their egos, but I don’t… I taught my children to play when they were quite young, 4th or 5th grade, as I recall. They all picked it up easily enough, and by the time they were in high school, they beat me regularly, as they still do…; -)

My son also plays chess starting very young but he has no made any progress. The fact that you all learn a pretty complex game is commendable.
