My Blogging – A Curiosity – A Meditation
all my dreams
supposed
creativity
my pedantry
my vapid
egocentricities
falling by
virtual gravity
through my
fingers and
tablet keys
onto the
digital page
before me
for my
‘vast’
blogging
audience
to read
can’t help
but wonder
how they
can waste
so much
time on
the mental
gymnastics
that now
define me
the
pomposity
of the idea
defies my
curiosity

As a reader of your site, I can only say that I find your words (and art) interesting, as it often resonates with me. Maybe we are all searching for kindred spirits.

Agreed, looking for kindred spirits; I think most of us are. And since people don’t socialize face to face much anymore, this may be the best, or perhaps the only way to achieve it…; -)

Except for one of my sisters, none of my family or shrinking circle of friends, write or paint. She is my most dedicated reader. She writes nonfiction pertaining to gardening (she’s a Master Gardener) that’s published in her local newspaper, and is very talented in a crafty sense. WordPress is the only place I’ve made friends and acquaintances who share my creative side. I’ve blogged off and on for 15 to 20 years, and have connected with a few—like you—who I consider true friends.

Thanks for considering me a friend. I think of you as a friend too. I have since we first started cross-commenting a couple of iterations back…; -)
I”ve only been blogging off and on since 2010. I think my old ‘Blogger’ site on Google is still up and running, though I haven’t added anything to it since I can’t remember when… The distribution of talent in my family was the opposite of yours, I think. All but one of my siblings can paint, scupt, and play instruments better than I. But I’m the only one who writes my particular brand of prose/poetry, or blogs. … Interesting…; -)
