Ongoing Self-reflection

Ongoing Self-reflection

I continually try to be here and now, in the present moment. But sometimes, the present is not the enlightening inspiration one would like.

For example, in that moment that you are accused of things that are not only inacuate, but the farthest things from your actual mindset or thought processes. This happens more frequently than one my age might anticipate… even though I endeavor to ‘anticipate’ nothing, allowing my life to progress as it will, open mindedly accepting my existence as it unfolds.

This perception of now seems to be very fleeting in the overall unity of cosmos, universe, space-time, and quantum realities, considering the frenetic nature of our current zeitgeist.

  1. I hope you’ve never felt I was accusatory, Liam. I know we hold different opinions/beliefs on many things, but I respect your right to be you. And I don’t pick my friends based on anything but how well we get along.
I too, find it difficult to live in the moment; I’m always looking behind or ahead.

    • Kate, I have never felt any accusations from you, only friendly commontary banter (agreeing or disagreeing), but never accusations of any kind. My example was rhetorical, based on past experiences … unfortunately, mostly with those, supposedly, close to me…; -)

  2. …hit send accidentally…

A lot of times, the ones we are closest to, are people who are the cruelest towards us…think they can say and do anything and get away with it. My husband is such a person. I’m glad we’re all square, Liam. ☺️
