Adam or Lucy?

When you think of the word “successful,” who’s the first person that comes to mind and why?

If Adam, then it’s because he was the first (supposedly) to be kicked out of his home in his distain for ‘authority’… Though, I was disappointed with his trying to blame his ‘soulmate’ and fellow partner in ‘crime’, Eve…

But there’s controversy since Lucy’s bones were discovered in Africa, Ethiopia, I think. Some scientists believe she was the first or at least the ‘mother’ of all human-kind…

That’s still an open question … So, yes, either Lucy or Adam … On second thought, maybe Cain, since we all (supposedly) bear his mark…; -)

    • I had to go look Lilith up. The only reference I have to the name is from feminist vestivals and some fantasy I read years ago; and yes, she would be a suitable option as well. Thanks for bringing her up…; -)

      • It’s an interesting myth. I’m not a feminist (bunch of crazy, blue-haired harpies, IMHO), but I like the idea that Lilith was created equal to Adam, not from his rib. Equal, but different, is my view on men and women.
