Shadow On The Door

There’s a shadow on the door
Feel like I should know it
It does look kind of familiar
Seems to move
Whenever I do

Light seems to surround it
Coming from a source far away
But something interrupts it
Something’s in the way
Ah, it’s only me

Always seem to be
In something’s way
Regardless of the day
Where perceptions hold sway
Inconvenience, as usual, on display
