Pandora’s …

Pandora’s Box

Pandora’s box
Only filled with
Bagels and lox
Swimming in
Chaos dust
But the box
Has no lock
What the

While back at its
Sprawling cage
The parakeet chirps
And the dog barks
With no reason
Nor rhyme…
Chirp bark chirp bark
Chirp chirp bark bark
Only ceases in
Pandora’s chaos dark

Boycott Immorality
Oh! such banality
On whose morals
Does the boycott hinge
You, me, perhaps Loki
Whims of Norse or Greeks
Don’t worry, be happy
Yes, a little song he wrote
Seems a good morality
Note for note
Cheek to cheek
Pandora agrees

  1. I watch very little news anymore, just a local channel and not every day. Pandora let the dogs out on society, and it has gone crazy. I think I’d rather live in ignorance and listen to chirp, bark, chirp, bark. It makes more sense.
I’m probably going to cut back to posting to about three times a week, Liam. It’s either that or put up a lot of older poetry. My muse is being fickle.

    • Agree; the chirps and barks do make more sense… I ignor the ‘news’ most days, too, preferring the peace and gentle ‘buzz’ of nature, the calm and unity of now.
My goal this last year was to post 365 days in a row, which I surpassed last week. So, I’ll be cutting back on posting as well. There are a couple of painting projects that I’d like to work on..
As for your older poetry, I’ve liked everything you’ve posted thus far…; -)
