Six of us were on the line at the Ajo entrance to the Tucson VA for the morning shift change. It was cold enough that I could see my breath in the air for the duation. Two visitors from Minnesota stopped by to chat with us and relay information about what’s happening there. They are visiting friends who work at our VA.
It seemed to me that we had close to 90% responses today, which included a couple of negatives. It seems that more and more people are picking sides now. One guy rolled down his window and started yelling at us. But with the volume and noise level of the traffic, we couldn’t understand a single word he said… Oh well… All I could do was laugh…; -)
I am feeling more positive about the direction of public sentiment recently.
Being chilled to the bone by the time we went home, I immediately whipped up my signature sloppy Joses. It hit the spot, unlike my last, failed attempt…; -)

What a beautiful sunrise!

Thanks, Kate… I thought so, too. Whenever I’m either up or out there for the sunrise, I like to catch it on my phone. I particularly like that statuesque Saguaro in the shot as well…; -)

Me too.
I saw my first Saguaro in Sept. 2019, the last time my husband was well enough to travel. We went to Tucson, then Sierra Vista to visit an old friend of my husband’s (they met in Germany when both were around 12 when their fathers’ were stationed there) and his wife, then headed to The Grand Canyon, and points in between.
