Ravens v Crows
Circling high above the dry wash
The inherent unkindness and treachery
In the ravens’ conspiracy
Regarding the murder of crows
Scavenging the nooks and crannies below
A conspiracy, both treacherous
And unkind…

These two birds of the Corvid family have always fascinated me, especially crows. I’ve read they can remember a human face, so I do my best not to get on their bad side. A Murder of Crows…that speaks for itself. 😁

When I was in Jr high, we had a crow. His mame was Joe. We crow-sat him for a couple of years while my uncle (whose pet he was) did a tour of duty in Japan.

That sounds like fun, especially at the age you were then.
