Tucson Senset
Tucson’s High Sonoran sunsets
always breathtaking
Each one differs
depending on time of year
cloud formations
and ‘thickness’ of the atmosphere
A panorama of crimsons
yellows and oranges
shades of sky blue and dark grays
as the western mountains
rise up to swallow the glow
and dusk fades the light away

Beautiful pictures, Liam. My favorite subjects to photograph are sunsets and sunrises. But I am rarely outside at the proper time to witness them. From my house, the eastern view of the sun rising is better than my western view of it setting.
And your poem ties all the sunsets together, like colorful beads on a string. ☀️

Thanks, I’m really pleased you like it ! … From my house, the western view is an easier and better photographic view. That’s why most of my sunrises are taken at the VA’s Ajo gate… But as the sun rises earlier and earlier, my sunrises are getting less ‘sun-rise-ie’ and more ‘mid-morning sunshine…; -)
