Four of us anchored the line outside the Ajo gate of the Tucson VA from 6:20am – 8:15am for the morning shift change.
The response rate was about the same as it has been for the last few weeks, from 85%-90%. Was only able to pick out a couple of head shakes, ‘no’, one ‘flipped bird’, and a yelled comment that I couldn’t make out… but it sounded negative…
On the positive side, besides the victory signs and solidarity fists, there were a couple of raised coffee mugs and a raised, half-eaten banana…; -)
I’ve included a photo of last night’s sunset to show the contrast with this morning’s sunrise… no clouds, just a pastel yellow-to-blue…
