Categories On The Old People-Spectrum

It seems to me
Three categories seem
Obvious to anyone
Willing to observe
And a fourth that seems
Evident to me

PA (paranoid/anxious)
Those who consume
Way too much media
In constant fear of death
And severe pain

SM (sanctimonious/ ‘moral’)
The morally ‘superior’
In their own minds
Judging everyone
In any way, different
From them or their own
Existential conditioning

FFLTG (few ‘f’s left to give)
Those who have lived long enough
To have very few ‘f’s left to give
Have seen over their long lives
How little actual control
Any of these individuals have
So indulge themselves
Whenever they can

PD (Philosophical Daoists)
Those who detach themselves
From artificial social-political angst
And relax into the natural flow
Of the Dao from the source
Through all that exists

I think I know where
In this spectrum
I fit
