Well, that’s going back a long way. My first was Space Invaders, a standalone machine in one of the venues (peanust shells on the floor) where my trio was performing… got on it between sets. Shortly after that, it was Aseroids. Again, a stand-alone in one of our performance venues.

Since then, I’ve tried many different ones, including ‘first shooter’ games and video ‘board-games’. But truthfully, I perfer actual board games, real cards, and Dominos… But, that’s just me.

My favorite is Chess, but most people that I know won’t take the time to learn the moves; they tell me it’s too complicated. So, I haven’t played in years. Tried the video and other electronic Chess games; even used to own and practice with the original ‘Boris in a box’ game. That one was stolen when my apartment got robbed back in the early 80s… Oh well… c’est la vie.
