The Road
Neverending
Transforming
From 12 lane highway
To barely visible dirt path
But neverending
Runs through
The countryside
Villages, towns, and metro-climes
And back again
Filled with wayfarers
Bound for who knows where
Like the one
Extending through
All sentient life
Roots, trunk, limbs, and twigs
Connecting us to the Universe
We are all but wayfarers
And most, unaware, on
The road
