What’s a small moment from your past that you still think about years later?
Too many to count. I’m old, and everything ‘new’ that happens (good, bad, or indifferent) reminds me of small moments gone by. As someone once said, ‘There’s nothing truly new under the sun’… or a reasonable facsimile there of.
Any current incident can remind me of multiple moments from my past. Sometimes pleasantly and sometimes, not so much.
But, it’s good to remember that those memories are maleable internal recodings of past events and may not even be truly accurate representations of the actual ‘happenings’ and my evolving interpretations of them… Just sayin’…; -)
